How we think affects everything we do and thinking preferences can be accurately measured. A brain profile is a descriptive and non-judgemental analysis and by understanding the impact of brain preferences on behaviour, helps develop patience and reduce negativity towards others that differ from you. As the understanding of brain preferences develops, individuals learn to celebrate differences opposed to rejecting others who are different from themselves.

At BREAKING BARRIERS, we use the Neethling Brain Instruments (NBI) brain profiling tools that assess thinking and behavioural preferences. BREAKING BARRIERS will help you to understand your own thinking, and those around you. NBI is a revolutionary battery of instruments that strives to understand the thinking of individuals on their personal and professional lives.

Don’t Wait – Do it!

How it works

Self assessment profiles are completed online and consist of a questionaire including left and right brain thinking processes questions. The profile analysis includes a profile report which is descriptive and an objective analysis of an individual’s thinking preference as well as an in-depth session based on the results of the NBI questionnaire.

NBI is based on 30 years of extensive international research on left- and right- thinking preferences

The NBI battery consists of more than 30 diagnostic surveys that indicate your personal thinking preferences which can support you in your personal and professional life. The NBI Instruments are perfect for several applications and outcome based results. From understanding one-on-one relationships to helping a child choose subjects in Grade 10. This is done by realising your preferred thinking process that will guide you through life.

One-on-One Assessment

Understanding your thinking preference gives you new insights and perspectives. The NBI instrument offers insight into the way individuals think, as their thinking preferences influence communication, decision making and problem solving from a personal and professional perspective.

Family Members

The NBI instrument provides insight into you and your family’s relationship style because thinking preferences also influence communication, decision making and problem solving in the family environment. The resulting Brain Profile is, in essence, the summary of your thinking preferences and how you deal with it.

Corporate Teams

Not every team player is a leader, but every player has a role to play within a team. The NBI instruments offer an interpretation of an individual’s thinking preferences and how that can lead to becoming more sensitive to the thinking preferences of others. The NBI can be used to discover the profile of the individual, team and Breaking Barriers will analyse the combinations so that you know the profile of your business.

What my clients say about me

“I would like to thank Danie Minnie from the Breaking Barriers team for his assistance in my NBI profiling and ongoing business coaching. It has proven hugely advantageous as I embarked on the process of merging with another practice, working with fellow directors and new staff. Danie takes you through the process of understanding your own brain profile, as well as giving you strategies on working with other brain profiles, optimising your productivity team.”

“Ek moes ‘n groot besigheids besluit neem en het by Breaking Barriers aan geklop vir hulp om my eie brein denke voorkeur te verstaan. Die nuwe werks geleentheid het baie mense interaksie geverg asook om op kreatiewe manier probleme op te los en ek was nie seker of dit by my sou pas nie. My NBI profiel analise het duidelik getoon dat ek baie sterk in my regterbrein kant was en spesifiek om met mense te werk MAAR op n klein groep skaal. Nou weet ek dat ek my groot groep interaksie met baie mense moet opskerp, en dat dit vir my eie denk proses heeltemaal normal is om moeg te word as ek teveel tyd spandeer saam ‘n groot groep mense. Dankie Breaking Barriers vir die nodige insig.”
